Koľajové a dopravné stavby s.r.o. has many years of experience in waste management. Waste is processed, disposed of and recycled. As early as 2001, we launched our own recycling base for construction waste in Košice with the aim of improving environmental sustainability and the circular economy through the recovery of construction waste.
The recycling base is located in Barca, 5 km from the centre of Košice.
We also have a mobile recycling line, which we can flexibly move to individual construction sites throughout Slovakia and also abroad.

- Our machines are equipped with certified weighing equipment, so the input material based on which we charge is checked by commercial scales at all times.
- The authorization for the recovery of building materials was issued for our company by the Regional Office of the Environment.

We carry out recycling of building debris in two ways:
STATIONARY
- We receive and ecologically process construction waste at our own recycling base in Košice – Barca.
- We process building materials from excavation and demolition of buildings, roadways and other construction sites based on customer requirements.
- We use our own recycling facility.
- We recover recyclable material by crushing and screening.
MOBILE
- We provide the fastest mobile recycling in the Slovak Republic.
- We provide flexible transfer of the mobile recycling line to the designated construction site – intermediate landfill.

- Use on a construction site, at a place of reconstruction, or demolition works, or depending on the individual requirement of the investor.

New technologies in recycling services
Our company owns modern equipment and technologies from renowned European companies for the recycling and processing of construction waste. All of them are characterized by high performance, autonomy and reliability. They have a wheeled chassis that enables easy movement using a tractor and easy handling. The machines can be used anywhere, they are powered by their own motor. They process everything from hard stone to the soft earth bed.

Use of recycled material
- Treated recycled materials are widely used: for backfilling, backfilling or landscaping in the underlying layers of pavements and roads of paved surfaces.
- They are generally applied as a substitute for classic aggregates.
- The appropriate use depends on the granularity of the recycled material.
